Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows. I cannot believe that we are already eight weeks into 2017, time seems to be on the run these days.
Half term has finally arrived along with some random flu like bug which has been doing the rounds. Typical isn’t it? The first day of the holidays together as a family has been spent shivering and sweating in the sitting room, not exactly what I had planned nor imagined for that matter!
Thankfully by dinner time Paul and I were both feeling a little better, with a little luck we may be able to get out tomorrow and either go swimming, have a trip to the cinema, take the kids to soft play or anything really so long as it gives us time together outside of the house.
The kids have been fantastically behaved given that both Paul and I have been out of action most of the day. It’s surprising that despite the four-year age gap they play together really well other than the occasional stropping or screaming regarding whose in possession of whichever toy and quite frankly I’ve learnt to tune out during those moments.
Today our little treasures ventured off around the house, bandanas wrapped around their heads as they played their current favoured game, Pirates. J has a slight obsession with all things Pirate themed at present, his little sister is happy to go along with any game so long as she gets to play with her beloved big brother.
Here are a couple of pictures I managed to snap, please ignore the pale face and the dodgy lighting. Theres very little I can do with the material which I was given. I will never be a size ten nor will I have a perfect complexion no matter how hard I may try!

Your children, certainly have loads of sticklebricks, reminded me, of a time, when I got mine out for the child minding children to play with, I kept them in an empty biscuit tin, when I took the lid off, one little boy’s face dropped, as he told me, he thought he was getting a biscuit! I have him one of those too!
Hehe biscuits are better huh?
You have a lovely face ! Stickle bricks galore we love them in our house too, not pleasant to stand on though. Enjoy the rest of your half term x
Stickle bricks! I loved those when I was little, but for some reason don’t have any for my children! Hope you’re feeling better. x #LivingArrows
