E finally returned to school today following ten days of having to do homeschool whilst isolating and boy was she happy to get back to her regular routine. E has spent the last week working really hard; alongside her regular school work she has also carried out numerous Christmas crafts including baking cookies which she then iced by hand using a piping bag – our little lady is a real kitchen whizz!
Having already had covid, J was free to go to school as ‘normal’ which was a relief as I’m not sure how he’d have faired with a week of homeschool so close to Christmas. J is more than ready to wind down for the holidays and I’m rather looking forward to collecting him following his final day later this week.
With only a week to go until the Christmas holidays, our schedule is action-packed with parties, meals, Christmas jumper days, carol singing, dance shows and all the seasonal school stuff which you’d expect. Things still aren’t quite what they were pre-covid but at least the kids get to enjoy a few festivities before the big day.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
