As you may have noticed, I’m a tad late in writing this weeks #LivingArrows post. I have been that ill I was simply unable to do anything other than collapse on the couch and rest my way to recovery.
Thankfully I’m feeling a little better today, I’m not entirely 100% but I’m doing my very best to stay on two feet and to work my way through the week. The kids have been a god send, they’ve seen how poorly I’ve been over the weekend and they have both been so understanding, caring and considerate.
I really do have the perfect pair of children, this was more than apparent as they very kindly dressed and decorated our Christmas tree without a single whinge, whine or wail. It took them just over an hour to complete placing the baubles, tinsel and everything else upon the tree and whilst I’d usually take charge (by pointing out places that require further decor), I sat back and let them get on.
Our Little Angel
Our Christmas Cracker
As always, we completed the decor by placing the fairy upon the top of the tree. This is a two-man (or should I say three-man?) job. Both J & E take a turn in placing said Fairy upon the tree top and each and every year we make sure to snap a photo. Here is my perfect pair placing the final touches upon this years Christmas tree.
The Final Touches
With the house decorated, we are just about ready to rock and roll for Christmas 2018. I have yet to write my cards, to buy a few final gifts and then finally to wrap everything. Hopefully I can get a few of these things done and dusted by the weekend and I can actually relax and enjoy the festivity without the frantic fussing towards the deadline date.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
