We spent Saturday strolling around the streets enjoying Dickensian delights with the kids. It’s the first time in a few years that we’ve been able to attend the local Dickensian festivities due to bad weather and of course, the pandemic.
It was great to get out, to share some mulled wine and a few mince pies whilst enjoying the atmosphere and getting in the mood for Christmas. The kids were wrapped up warm and were spoilt rotten with various bits and bobs from the realms of stalls that we scoured throughout the day.
Though we’d wrapped up warm we didn’t really dress for the occasion as many others had as the streets were adorned with people strutting their stuff in a range of Dickensian-style clothing. E was rather delighted when she came across a couple of Christmas shrubs (or perhaps they were meant to be trees?) whom she politely asked to pose for a photo with.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments on this post.
