We’ve had another busy week and, according to my diary and our kitchen wall planner, it’s not going to get any easier anytime soon. It seems that we’re living in the fast lane at present as we’ve got endless amounts of appointments, activities and tasks to do planned back to back right up until Christmas, by which time I’ll be ready for a rest.
It’s been an emotional week as my Mum and I marked a year since my Fathers passing, whilst the kids were kept occupied and entertained. E raised funds for Children In Need by dressing up and baking cakes, she then enjoyed playing with her cousin whilst J got his overalls on and got to work with his Grandad – though I’m pretty sure that there were was more fun being had than work being done…

We celebrated the kids Great Nana Margy’s 103rd birthday by paying the legend herself a visit armed with a card and bags of goodies to celebrate her big day. It felt like forever since we last saw Nana M due to pandemic, the various lockdowns and all that malarkey thus it was great to catch up, and such a delight to see her surprise at how much the kids have grown.
It’s certainly busy, busy, busy but the kids are trooping on as always – if only I could have some of their energy and enthusiasm as I’m waning and weary and we’re only mid-way through November!
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
