It’s exactly one month until the big day, I’ve still so much to do before the but at least one thing has been ticked off the ‘to-do list’ – the kids have seen Santa!
Armed with their wish lists at the ready, the kids excitedly queued up to see Santa in his grotto. I must admit, I was beginning to wonder whether J still believed, but having seen his face whilst talking to Santa it was plain to see that the magic is still alive and kicking.
Having shared their wish lists, both J & E were given a little gift which funnily enough was exactly what they each after – J got a mini Nerf gun whilst E was given a brand new spirograph set. Talk about perfect timing and the perfect present, Santa hit the nail on the head!
It was so lovely to stand back and to watch the kids faces alight with excitement and wonder. I remember being their age – Christmas was a month filled with magic, rather than now (thirty years down the line) where Christmas is chaotic, stressful and expensive.
Oh to be young…
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

How lovely that they both enjoyed the magic. Seeing their little faces is just what it’s all about! #livingarrows

You hit the nail on the head with expensive! We are not due to see the big man until Christmas Eve.When I booked it I thought it would be lovely. Now I am hoping they don’t change their requests on that trip!!
Oh gosh I don’t think I could cope taking them on Christmas Eve – too many questions would get asked !
