With less than fifty days to go before the big day arrives I have finally got my backside into gear in terms of Christmas. I’ve spent this afternoon pulling the contents of my wardrobe tops down to get an idea of the bits and pieces which I have managed to collect in the run up to the chaos which is Christmas.
Meanwhile the kids were busy at School no doubt sharing their stories from Bonfire Night. Here are a couple of pictures of the children which were taken yesterday at the local Fireworks display. It was certainly brisk outside but we made sure that we each wore many layers, staying wrapped up with warm rosy cheeks as we stood by the fire.

Despite handing out endless sparklers to both the children and our friends to wave around I still have surplus sparklers which I’ve hidden away ready for the New Year.
It doesn’t feel like any time at all since last new year! I remember it well, I had spent the afternoon cooking for family whilst the kids occupied themselves with the vast array of toys which were littered across our living room as if the contents of Toys R Us had somehow exploded into our house.
It’s not long until before we will be filling our fridge with seasonal supplies and pouring the Champers to toast yet another new year, in the meantime I need to keep the kids occupied and focused on anything and everything other than Christmas otherwise their excitement may peek far too early leaving them impatient and unruly.
I will however hold my hand up and admit that I may have already found and tuned into ‘Magic Christmas’ on DAB Radio, well if you can’t beat them then you’d better join them right?
Thanks again for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
