After ten days of isolation, my son is finally able to return to school in the morning though whether he’s quite ready I’m not entirely sure. Poor J still has a horrid cough, he’s struggling with intermittent headaches and is permanently exhausted, though I think that may be down to the fact that he’s lacked any real routine over the past week.
Though many people tend to isolate the positive case in their room, we decided against doing this as it just didn’t feel right. Thankfully J has had some positive points throughout the past week including a brilliant bread making session.
Brilliant Bread Making
E meanwhile returned to school this morning – she couldn’t wait to get back and to see her friends, bless her. She too has had a busy week homeschooling, cooking, and carrying out various crafts.
Perfect Painting
Here’s hoping that J makes it through what I’m expecting to be a busy week ahead – I have been and still am oh so worried about him. It’s been such a stressful time of late and though life is still a far cry from normal, I’m holding out hope that things might get back to ‘normal’ give it a week or two.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

So glad he’s out of isolation and hope the rest of you are ok. I’m still exhausted weeks after having it so I hope he’s bearing up ok x
He’s doing alright thanks x
I hope he’s feeling better this week? I still have fatigue especially morning and night x
He seems good thanks
I hope they’re both feeling OK – we’ve managed to avoid covid so far but it just feels like a matter of time until one of us catches it!
