With E returning to school this morning our regular routine has now returned and we are all ‘back to the grindstone for the next seven weeks or so.
Though summer is officially out, the weather obviously hasn’t received the memo as we are set to bask in a September heatwave at some point this week. We made the most of the sunshine over the weekend as we enjoyed bike rides, trips to the park, walks with the dog, and a cheeky ice cream or two at the beach.
Ice Cream Smiles
E met a rather late milestone this weekend as after eight years of tantrums and abdabs she finally gained the confidence and balance to ride her bike without stabilisers or an adult running alongside her. It was great to see our little lady finally pedalling her bike across the garden with glee. I’m hoping that with a little more practice and patience that she’ll soon be able to enjoy bike rides as a family followed by hot chocolates and treats at the local bistro.
A Mega Milestone
Speaking of hot chocolates, it won’t be too long now before the clocks go back and the dark nights draw in, thus I aim to enjoy every second of sunshine possible before then.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with yourΒ #LivingArrowsΒ either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
