I was flicking through my photos of the kids earlier today and came across these two shots snapped over the summer. I suddenly realised how much the kids have shot up; our little lady no longer looks quite so little and our big boy is becoming a teenager before his time. Not only in terms of appearance but also in his attitude…

Mad For Milkshake – A Teenager Before His Time
I cannot believe J is about to start year six, his final year at primary school, following which he will move up to secondary school whilst E will become a junior! Oh my lord, where has the time got to?!
Whilst the kids don’t start back at school until Wednesday, I, on the other hand, have been back at it today. It was a bit of a shock to the system waking so early, though it’ll get the kids back into a routine ready for their return. Though, I won’t be long out of my bed tonight as I’m completely and utterly exhausted already!
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

It’s crazy how fast they grow up! Mine starts year 1 tomorrow and I know it will be a mad dash out the door in the morning after 6 weeks of lazing in our pjs!
I hope it all went well, the return to school is usually a bit of a rush!
