Today marks the ninth birthday of our very happy little Harry Potter fan; thus we’ve spent the entire weekend celebrating in order to mark the occasion. Firstly, E had her friends over for a Harry Potter-themed party where they played in the hot tub, watched Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone whilst guzzling a buffet (and a cake that took me a fair few hours to bake and decorate) big enough to feed the five thousand, which they then followed by an hour or so of karaoke and playing in the garden.
E awoke to find the living room covered in pretty pink Harry Potter-themed decor and a pile of parcels and cards along with her new swing which we built in the garden earlier this week, all of which she opened with glee before getting ready to head out for the afternoon with her two Nana’s and myself for a few hours crafting various items of jewellery at the local bead workshop.
E has had a birthday bonanza and to say that she’s been spoilt is an understatement but that’s what birthdays are for!
