#LivingArrows – Staying Put & Staying Safe 33/52 (2020)

Though the sunshine has dissipated somewhat, my memories from this past week are well recorded as I captured copious sunshine snaps which I’m sure that come winter I’ll be scrolling through whilst wishing for warmer days.

I’ve really enjoyed spending time sitting in the sunshine watching and listening to the kids scream and splash about, especially so as they haven’t been able to have a holiday this year.

Though many people are spending their summer touring around the UK, we need to stay close to home at present with all that’s going on with my Dad.  In some respects, the pandemic has paid us a favour as we are easily able to explain our reasons for staying put to the kids and they respect that we must stay safe, which is a relief.

Though we’ve got the garden, I still feel a little guilty that the kids are cooped up at home but we’ve had the good weather, we’ve had some fun as a family and we’d do similar in Spain or wherever we were so… it’s much cheaper and still just as cheery right here at home.
