One thing is for sure – there is no place like home! You can fly all around the World, travel from coast to coast and holiday wherever you fancy but nothing beats home. Home is absolutely where the heart is, thus the kids and I have been more than happy spending this past week at home.
We’ve probably spent far too much time in our pajamas but I’ve rather enjoyed the lazy mornings, it’s done us all the world of good. The kids have entertained themselves with board games, drum practice, baking, and watching movies, whilst I’ve got on with the housework and convalescing following having a tooth extracted.
J is now working upon 3/4 timing, which he seems to be picking up like a pro. We’ve recently added speakers to J’s current drum-kit-setup and what a difference it has made, not only to the kit but to his practice!
Practice Makes Perfect
It’s been a while since I’ve had a tooth pulled, I’d forgotten how painful and rather undignifying the whole experience was. Having arrived home numbed up to the hilt, I snuggled on the sofa with cotton dressing stuffed into my gums, a tea towel wrapped around my neck as I sat drooling like a dog. I was barely able to string a sentence together and felt like I’d been in a fight with a frying pan and lost.
Picture Posing
E very kindly came to sit with me and to cheer me up, although I wasn’t willing to join her in the selfie session, no matter how many filters were available. There was absolutely no way that I was posing for post dentist pictures. Bless her, E is such a little ray of sunshine. If ever anyone falls over in the yard or she spots someone is upset, E will always be the first one to the scene to try and brighten their day.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I hope you’re feeling better now. I don’t think there’s any such thing as too much time in PJs, I’d live in mine if I could! x
