It’s been yet another none-stop week, Paul was busy working whilst I was kept occupied with keeping the kids entertained which I swear is the more difficult job out of the two. There are only so many crafts, creations, board games, movies and trips to the park that can be carried out before boredom eventually sets in.
Whilst I adore having the children at home and being able to spend time with my kids, it isn’t all plain sailing as there are times when I could quite happily string them up on the washing line just for a moment’s peace.
I’m sure half of my neighbours have heard me holler no end of instructions, demands, requests and reprimands towards my children. At one point I spent time worrying whether people would think I was a bad parent for shouting, years later I can’t say I care much about what people think about my parenting skills. At the end of the day my children are happy, healthy, spoilt rotten with attention, well fed and extremely well cared for.
The Boys Team
Paul and I often tend to ‘tag team’ with our children; we will either focus upon one child each or we take it in turns to keep the dastardly duo busy whilst one of us takes five. We don’t mean to but we often end up splitting into a ‘girls team’ and a ‘boys team’ as it seems to make life easier whilst out and about; this afternoon for example, I took E around the park whilst Paul watched upon J as he scaled the climbing nets. The weather wasn’t particularly wonderful but despite the cooler temperatures, both kids had a brilliant time as did we.
The Girls Team
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I was just thinking about the neighbours the other day when I was shouting at my two! Like you say though – we know they are happy and cared for and we’re only human after all! #LivingArrows
Indeed, thanks Maria x
I love your idea of tag teaming. I don’t often get time with the children one on one so this sounds great! x
Yeh it does work x
