#LivingArrows – Sunset Snuggles 32/52 (2019)

J has reached that age where he no longer wishes to receive affection in the form of kisses, hugs or snuggles from his folks – he’d rather shake our hand or give us a friendly nod, which is fair enough so long as he’s polite and acknowledges our presence.

J reverted somewhat whilst on holiday, which considering the circumstances was completely understandable. He began asking to hold my hand whilst out walking, especially so when crossing roads and he’d happily hop into our bed for snuggles and reassurance of a night time.

I rather enjoyed sharing snuggles with my son, though now he’s happy at home I’m sure it’ll be back to handshakes and high fives!

Cuddles On The Coast

E meanwhile is the complete opposite to her brother, she is a right little snuggle bunny and climbs all over us to get our attention. I adore E’s cuddles, though they are super squeezy and can sometimes take you by surprise. E will often rocket launch herself towards your legs, which if you’re not too careful can send you flying!

Sunset Snuggles

These pictures were taken whilst in Hersonissos, Crete – this time last week we would have been strolling along the shore snapping these shots. Thankfully, we are now home safe and have already adjusted to the twenty degrees difference in temperature!

Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I love cuddles with the kids – it’s nice that J is enjoying cuddles against despite the circumstances x
