We’ve been living with my Mum for just over a week now due to our current kitchen chaos and what was once our weekly walk has now become a daily routine. Though I’m rather enjoying our holiday away from home and I’ll most certainly miss walking through fields, past ponds, and along disused railway tracks each day, I’ll be glad to get home and for life to return to normal …whenever that may be. The kids don’t seem to mind being away from home at all but I miss the comfort of my own bed, I miss my house, and I MISS MY HOT TUB!

I suspect it’ll be at least a fortnight before we are heading home and so until then I’ll be sure to make the most of the regular walks, the stunning scenery and at some point, I am hoping planning to make use of the local pub which is literally only a few houses down from where we are. It’s most certainly a summer to remember!
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

It looks like your mum lives in a lovely place but I know what you mean about missing your own bed. I always crave my home comforts when I’m away for more than a few nights.

She does live in a stunning area
Hope the renovations are going well. I would totally be making the most of the pub, that sounds like our dream locations stunning views a pub down the road.. exactly what we are looking for.
We are doing our best !
It looks like a beautiful place to be for a few weeks – I know what you mean though, there’s nothing quite like getting in your own bed after you’ve been away!
Exactly ! It doesn’t help that at present it’s POURING with rain
I can’t wait to see your finished kitchen! It must be lovely having such quality time with your mum x
