Welcome to this weeks rather late edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a few snaps of my little ones and tell you a little about what they may or may not have been up to.
The Horse Whisperer
Our little lady E will shortly turn four-years old which means that she will finally be old enough to ride a horse with insurance which of course is precisely what she intends to do following the big day. Already E delights in watching the beautiful beasts as the gallop past her whilst wandering along the beach.
I too am an avid horse rider but sadly unable to afford the cost or the possibility of breaking a bone that riding presents. I am however more than willing to pay out for my Princess to fulfil her dreams of trotting along the shoreline which given time and a little practice I am more than certain she will indeed do.
Here’s our little horse whisperer watching her the horses whilst out with her Daddy and Nana earlier this week.
The Karate Kid
J has come on leaps and bounds not only in terms of his school work but also in his extra-curricular clubs such as Karate. This time last year J had just been handed his yellow belt from his Teacher Stuart who is sadly no longer with us. A year later we miss Stuart terribly but the Dojo lives on in his honour and I’m damned sure that Stuart would be incredibly proud of this little man.
I for one am nuts about my little ninja turtle, he can be lazy at times but when focused and willing he puts in masses of effort and with a little determination I’m fairly sure that he follow in his Fathers footsteps.
Thanks again for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Lovely to see beautiful children with clear ideas about what they want to do
Thanks Kitty x
That’s great he enjoys the focus of karate. It’s not something I know a lot about and wouldn’t even be on my radar as a club for N, but so many kids seem to do it nowadays #livingarrows
I would love for Monkey to be able to ride but he’s allergic! I hope she has a lovely birthday and really enjoys the dream. Such a skill to learn a martial art and I like the discipline it also teaches! #LivingArrows
It sure does teach discipline !
It’s great that they’ve both got hobbies to focus on – horse riding sounds like it might be an expensive one though! #LivingArrows
It sure does !
