Wow, it’s been such a hot week here in the UK, we’ve seen temperatures of thirty degrees or more and the kids have been having the time of their lives – it truly does feel like a holiday at home. Rather than wasting our energy pumping up the paddling pool and using endless amounts of water, we’ve turned the hot tub down to thirty-two degrees and have purchased a couple of hammock lilos for the kids to relax upon whilst keeping ‘cool in the pool’.

Cool Dude
According to the Met Office’s forecast things are about to change entirely as we have thunderstorms and wetter weather approaching, though it’s well-timed as we are now in the thick of a kitchen refurb. We’ve just and so moved and settled at my Mum’s whilst the chaos commences, thus the hot tub has been emptied, cleaned and switched off for the time being.
Here’s hoping that the weather cools a little though not too much because I’m a fussy so and, I’m very much like Peter Kay portrayed in his summer sketch “I like it warm but not this warm, there’s warm and there’s warm…” and though I’d love to shut up and to enjoy a Solero, I really ought to stick to my diet!
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

The weather was crazy hot wasn’t it? I’m quite glad it’s cooled down a bit now but hoping the rain stops for our camping trip this week!
Good luck with the weather for this week and happy camping !
The weather has been such a contrast over the last couple of weeks – that amazing hot weather feels like such a long time ago now! x
It is
Great idea to turn the hot tub down. Hope the kitchen renovations are going well and I would like it to be a little warmer again now at least so I can get my holiday washing done!
The rains pouring now sadly
