The summer holidays have finally arrived as has the most perfectly timed heatwave. We’ve spent the past few days enjoying time wining and dining with family and friends in the beautiful summer sunshine and boy, does it feel good to have a break!
Swinging Into Summer
This next week is going to be far from relaxing however as I’m yet to empty my kitchen cupboards and to pack our suitcases for some time away whilst our kitchen gets ripped out, stripped and sorted. It’ll be nice to spend some time away from home (without being too far away) and to make progress on our plans whilst we are away from the rubble and the kitchen chaos.

How wonderful to be able to escape the mess and chaos- we want a wall taking out between our kitchen and living room but I keep putting it off because I cannot cope with the mess!

That looks like a fab swing! And enjoy your time away from home – we stayed in the house when we had our kitchen done and it was hard work!
