Talk about hot weather, it was absolutely SCORCHIO last week and despite having a full day of homeschool planned and at the ready, we decided to ditch studying in favour of some fun in the sun.
It was so hot that despite having the pool, the parasol, and all the summer stuff out we could only bare to brave the heat for a couple of hours before coming in for some shade.

Even by the evening, the temperature was still above thirty degrees (celsius) and we spent the night tossing and turning with the windows wide open.
It’s a bit ‘British’ of us to complain about the heat – We really ought to break open the Soleros and shut the…. up!’
