After a busy week being back to our regular routine, we enjoyed a restful weekend starting with a simple Saturday as for once we didn’t have any builders, plumbers, glaziers, or workmen around the house. We were finally free to enjoy a lovely, lazy lay in followed by a family movie. We’ve been meaning to watch Raya and the Last Dragon since it was first released but my husband was reluctant to pay out £19.99 when we already pay for a monthly subscription to Disney Plus, thus we waited till it was included as part of the package.
Movie Snuggles With The Hound
Sunshine Strolls
After a quick lunch, we made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed a stroll out with my Mum and the dogs before feasting upon our weekly, scrumptious burgers from the van in the Square.
Having sufficiently stuffed ourselves, J was eager to get back so that he could enjoy some time out playing with his friends. It felt a little strange leaving my son and his scooter to play out and about as it’s been so long since we’ve had that freedom, it suddenly feels so alien. E meanwhile took advantage of the empty hot tub and splashed around with her swim-noodle and many other water toys before having some supper with her brother, a speedy shower and us adults were left in peace to enjoy some time together.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Ooooh I didn’t realise it was part of the package now- we’ll definitely be checking that out. Sounds like you’ve had a lovely relaxing weekend.

Yeh it is 🙂
We have Raya on the calendar to watch on Friday, can’t wait to see it! I wasn’t going to pay £20 either! x
Good on you 🙂
Ooh I would like a hot tub to myself! We still need to watch Raya #livingarrows
It’s a good watch and hot tubs are a great investment
Sounds like a lovely weekend enjoying some more freedom. I would be happy to have the hot tub to myself as well. Lets hope the good weather comes back soon.
Thanks
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend. We haven’t had chance to watch Raya and the Dragon yet – I wasn’t going to pay £20 for it either!
Glad it’s not just me then
