Half term came to a rather abrupt end as poor E has struggled and suffered from a bad bout of nosebleeds which led to us having to make a mad dash to the local (I say local – it’s actually a fifty-minute drive away) A&E department.
Having being given the all-clear, E and I came home late last night and after a snack, a shower, and a story half-term was officially over.
Telling The Time
We’ve been keeping things as cool and as calm as possible today to prevent any further bleeds (she has had one but we soon stopped it!). Despite not feeling entirely herself, our beautiful and brave little E has made a fantastic start upon her homeschooling for the week – she has learned how to tell the time and is now able to tell her quarter-past from quarter-to’s and I’m one super proud parent.
Care To Complain?
J meanwhile has been kept rather busy with measuring angles and his making a start upon his new writing task – how to write a complaint letter. Given that his Mother (that’ll be me) is the Queen of whining, moaning, and complaining I’ve got plenty of ideas to pass on.
So here we are in June with just six weeks to go until the summer holidays – nothing really feels normal anymore but we are doing our very best to get by, to keep calm and to continue homeschooling.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear about the nosebleeds. Really hope they’ve calmed down now x
They seem to have TOUCH WOOD
We have hit a bit of a roadblock with the homes schooling. Little J just isn’t interested anymore. Will try again tomorrow
