Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a few photos of my beautiful children.
Despite the never-ending sibling rivalry I am so lucky to have ‘one of each’. Theres J, our beautiful boy whose stereotypically potty about pirates and loopy over Lego. Then theres E, our little Princess who just like her Mummy is a total fantasist, loves all things pink and is a complete and utter Disney Diva.
Young Love
J turned eight-years old last week and as part of the celebrations we invited our friends Ali & Duane over to the house during the evening for some snacks and alcoholic refreshments. Ali brought her kids E & L along to play and that they did…
J seemed to take a real shine to E and despite a small age gap they got along like a house on fire. The pair of them were inseparable and J has asked almost everyday since when he can next see E. Little does he know that come tomorrow he will be reunited with his much-loved playmate, I can’t wait to see his face when I tell him but to avoid endless questions and possible count downs I have kept this information under my hat for the time being.
Sunshine Days
Summer made an official visit last week and whilst it was short-lived we made sodding sure that we made the very best of the weather while we could!
We blew up not one but two paddling pools, smothered our kids in lotion and let them run riot in the back yard whilst I created the perfect summer playlist and necked my body weight in Wine. Much fun was had, Paul ended up soaked head to toe thanks to J’s endless torment with random water filled vessels and E and I kicked back for some serious splash time to keep ourselves cool.
Looking back at these sunny shots its hard to believe that the weather could be so different in such a short space of time. From a heat wave to a deluge within the space of a weekend, it’s unreal!

The weather was a bit nuts last week. Been nice here the last couple of days. Keep thinking I should put out our paddling pool but we don’t have an outside tap so it’s really painful doing it by bucket. #livingarrows
