To celebrate J’s birthday last week, we took the kids, for what was our first day out in over eighteen months, to the Treetop Nets where we spent two hours bouncing around like loons having the time of our life. Though it was spitting when we arrived, the weather thankfully remained dry and quite hot for the rest of our stay.
It was quite amusing as prior to our session on the nets, E was desperate to play in the park, just as we had done a few years back when we last visited. However, J has grown somewhat since then and it was rather apparent as he was simply unable to squeeze himself into the tight spaces required to access the slides and such-like. Thankfully he saw the funny side of it, though it’s certainly made me reconsider locations and activity selection for trips out in the future.
TreeTop Tall
We enjoyed two hours in total bouncing around in the tree tops and what fun we had – E is that much bigger now and she has become far more independent, thus there was no hesitation over her jumping into bags and whizzing down slides, she even braved scaling great heights and climbing a few nets with her big brother.
Brave & Bouncy
It was all go and fantastic family fun for us all, it was just great to be out and to enjoying time together away from the world of restrictions.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
