It’s not been the best of weeks in all honesty; poor E hasn’t been all that well, bless her. We followed the guidelines and booked her in for a PCR test and have since been given the good news that she is covid-negative. However, E’s temperature is still much higher than I would like it to be thus she is off school for the time being.
Despite being stuck in my bedroom with the little lady for the majority of the weekend, we managed a short walk with the dogs so that we could have at least half an hour of fresh air before returning to the blankets and box sets. Luck was far from on our side as midway through watching Mary Poppins Returns my Samsung Smart TV exploded, thus we’ve had to shell out yet more money to replace it. Nothing seems to be going in our favour at present!

Being wise, J has kept his distance from the lurgy and has been occupying himself by working on his beloved animations – he even has his own YouTube channel now which I’m rather impressed by. I can’t believe he’ll be turning twelve this week – where on earth does the time go?!

On that note, I’m off to repaint our bedroom wall prior to the arrival of new television …

Ahh I hope your daughter is feeling better now. It is horrible them being ill anyway, but so much worse throughout this pandemic!
