#LivingArrows ‘Kisses & Kicking It’ 20/52 (2017)

Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share an image of each of my little ones. The past seven days have once again flown by and all in honesty I have barely blogged as I’ve had very little to say but I promise I will rectify this shortly especially with Blog On being just around the corner!

Kicking It

Whilst I was busy pulling pints behind the bar on Sunday my son was down at the dojo showing them ‘how it’s done’ aka being graded for his orange karate/ kickboxing belt’. Both Paul and I were worried about how he might get on given that he’s found certain moves challenging to memorise but as always ‘J brought it’ on the day and stunned not only his Daddy and I but also his instructor and peers alike.

I am so proud of our little man, he’s worked really hard, he’s put in some serious effort and it’s really paid off. I am only sad that his late instructor Stuart wasn’t there to see J getting his next belt, he is so missed but I have a feeling that Stu was there in spirit.#LivingArrows 'Kisses & Kicking It' 20/52 (2017)

Cracker Kisses

E is growing fast, with each day that passes I lose yet more time to spend with our little lady before she heads off to Primary School. We received official confirmation of her initial starter days at school this week and upon reading the letter I found myself shedding a tear or two. This time next month our little lady will be donning her uniform and heading out to give it a go!

As ever E is still ‘Mummy mad’ and spends the majority of her time either cradled in my arms, sat on my knee of hanging off some element of my clothing desperate for my attention. She is such an independent soul when I’m not around but the moment that us two gingers get together we are like cheese (I’ll be the cheese) and crackers (that’s one way to describe my daughter!), best together!

Great work for your son there – fantastic and great to be active from a young age. Brilliant.
