For some reason or other I seem to be lacking in photographs this week, we’ve been busy I guess but I just haven’t been snapping shots like I usually do.
J has spent the majority of his time with his nose either buried in a book or with his arms wrapped around the puppy, either that or a combination of the two. I cannot express how pleased I am that J has chosen to read for pleasure although I feel that this may get rather costly as he is flying through books like nobody’s business.
The Boy & His Basset
Meanwhile E if finally feeling better and is busy back at school. She went to ‘Beach school’ for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed it, according to her shoes she really threw herself into the experience.
Anyhow, she seems to be doing really well at the moment and never fails to impress me with her reading, writing, drawing and everything academic. As for behaviour at home on the other hand, that’s another story!
Thankfully though, J and E both seem to get along a whole lot better these days. There seems to be far more cooperation, understanding and dare I say it? Respect! I couldn’t ask for a better brother-sister relationship, they work together as a team these days rather than against each other as they once did.
Tolerance & Team Work
Whilst our house seems pretty settled I can assure you that with two kids, two dogs and two of us working almost full-time, its chaos most days but still, it’s far more manageable than it once was.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
