Since starting School our little lady seems to be suffering with endless amounts of ailments. If it’s not stomach bugs, coughs, colds, asthma related issues or eczema related issues then it’s something else doing the rounds.
I swear to god we pack our kids full of fruit, vegetables and vitamins galore yet this seems to make absolutely no difference whatsoever when it comes to E. Bless her, she had almost a week off school prior to the Easter holidays and within a week of returning she’s back at home recuperating from yet another bug.
I feel as if I’m failing as a parent somehow, I’m well aware that kids catch bugs but this seems to be a never-ending cycle for E. It must be so frustrating for poor E having to spend her time at home, meanwhile her friends are busy learning at the beach or running around having fun in the playground. I certainly feel frustrated on her behalf and I hate her having to spend so much time off school.
Heres hoping that give it a few days and our little lady will be back on her feet and ready to ‘rock and roll’ back in the reception class.
Sleeping Beauty
Trouser Snake
J on the other hand is full of beans, or should I say I say ‘full of snakes?’. Whilst playing the 3D version of Snakes and Ladders with his little sister over the weekend, J decided to stuff himself with the inflatable snakes which I thought warranted a picture. Our little man is so funny at times, he certainly knows how to make us laugh that’s for sure!
It’s certainly swings and roundabouts when it comes to this parenting malarkey. It’s blumming hard work at times but worth every ounce of effort!
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Oh gosh I know what you mean. A and T always spend the first six months of the year fighting one bug after another!! x
Poor E, nothing seems to help sometimes does it. When Daisy first started school she came down with something every week it seemed. I hope she’s feeling better soon. J looks like he’s having an ace time with his game. #livingarrows
Yeh she is far better now thankfully and yes J loves games
Oh bless her. Hopefully she is now over this latest bug and has a break from all the illness until the school year is out.
Gosh I hope so !
