#LivingArrows – Disney Dreaming 17/52 (2022)

We’ve had a busy but brilliant weekend overall. E had fun with her friends at the local cinema watching a film on Saturday whilst J had his head buried deep in the depths of computer code as he continued to create his Bendy and the Ink Machine based Roblox game. I meanwhile continued my search for our 2023 family holiday much to no avail.

After collecting E from the train station, we then drove through to my Mums where we enjoyed a regular weekly dog walk and burgers before heading home for baths, books, and a slightly late bedtime.

We enjoyed a lovely lazy Sunday morning lay in, after which I bit the bullet and clicked the ‘BOOK NOW’ button, thus sending the kids into an excited frenzy as we revealed that they will be journeying to Florida in the summer of 2023 where they will be spending time in both Disney World, Universal, and if all goes to plan (and we can stretch our budget to accommodate the activity), swimming with dolphins at Discovery Cove.

Both J & E were ecstatic to hear our 2023 travel plans, E especially so as she proceeded to spend the rest of the day/ evening wearing her rather marvellous Minnie Mouse ears whilst carrying various Disney plush characters in and around the house.

It’s been three years since the kids last went on holiday and with all that they have been through I feel they deserve to enjoy the trip of a lifetime. Bring on summer 2023!
