Having made it through the first week back at school, we’ve enjoyed yet another super sunny weekend scooting, swinging, strolling, and scoffing in the sunshine. We’ve barely been indoors of late and I for one am making the most of the sunshine before the rain returns…
E spent time enjoying a walk with her Nanna and the dogs, she loves looking at all the flowers and later finding them in her fairy books. We fed the ducks, which seemed to have grown accustomed to our weekly visits, E was amazed by how close they came – they were practically eating the bread from her hands!
Feeding The Ducks
J brought a little more than just homework home this week as we were blessed with some brass and the sound of Music (or something along those lines…) as he practiced blowing and making notes with a trumpet. I’m not sure how long he gets to keep or to use the trumpet for but he’s enthusiastic at least and having had a go myself, I can assure you it’s not easy to play!
Bringing Brass Back
The kids seem to be doing really well, all things considered. The wonderful weather and the lighter nights have made such a difference and with a little luck, lockdown should soon be over and we may be able to venture a little further at some point. For the time being, however, we are rather enjoying our regular routine of weekend walks in and around the local area, though my legs were feeling it a little having climbed great heights this week!
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
