The first week of the Easter break is officially over. It’s been great having the kids at home, they’ve really needed the rest after working and of course playing so hard at School and Nursery.
Despite our shifts at work and the mixed weather we seem to be having, we’ve done our very best to keep the kids entertained both inside and out over the week.
J and E have enjoyed numerous walks out to the beach and trips to the park. It’s so lovely to be able to do things as and when without the pressures of the daily grind.
I’m not sure whether its having them at home or whether the kids are having a growth spurt but either way both Paul and I have noticed just how much the kids have grown recently. E no longer fits into her 3-4 year old clothing, likewise J seems to have skipped the 8-9 age range and is now making his way into 9-10 year old clothes before turning eight never mind nine years of age!
With the massive wardrobe changes we will soon be venturing into the attic to locate the next size of clothing we have secretly stashed away for the kids and also buy a few new pieces ready for the summer weather that’s hoping we have some this year!
Here are a couple of pictures of the kids taken over the first week of the Easter break, here’s hoping that we will have plenty more to share over the next few days.

It’s certainly been a busy Easter so far, I’m hoping that now the easter bunny has delivered her eggs we can settle ourselves a little and enjoy what’s left of the holidays that and the mound of chocolate we’ve been given!
I hope that you have all had a wonderful Easter are having a marvellous Monday (it’s bank holiday after all). Thanks again for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Aww it must be nice to not do school runs and things and kick back a little and just have fun as a family ?
It sure is !
Have a god remainder of your Easter hos. We’re in the same situation, although N takes ages to grow out of clothes #livingarrows
E’s face is just a picture! It feels like A and T haven’t grown in a while – it would be lovely to have a growth spurt here – but expensive! x
Yes it’s expensive alright
