I would like to begin this post by wishing you all a Happy New Year. The #LivingArrows linky is something which I joined almost two years ago now and have continued to take part in on a weekly basis. This project originally took its name from a Kahil Gibran poem “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and the point of this project is quite simply to celebrate childhood.
Each week (on a Monday) I share one or two pictures of our little ones taken throughout the week, this has proved to be a fantastic way in which to capture memories and to keep a record of our children over time. Should you fancy taking part then be sure to visit Donna’s blog over at ‘What The Redhead Said’
Happy New Year
Heres a snapshot taken whilst out on the beach earlier this week. The children were wrapped up warm as they were suffering with the usual winter coughs and colds but that didn’t stop them from running amuck and having fun in the dunes.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I so wish we lived closer to a beach! There is just something so calming about the sea and the air around it!

Love taking the children to the beach in the colder weather, it’s so peaceful and they can run for miles, next week we are planning on taking Merrie for the first time. #livingarrows
