It doesn’t seem like five minutes since J was busy putting together projects in response to his primary schools ‘homework menus’ that were sent home every few months. Now it’s E’s turn to craft, create, and research a particular topic, the focus this time around being the Anglo Saxons.
E has spent the past couple of weeks busy after school carrying out her reading practice, her spelling practice, her maths work, and putting time and effort into creating a folder filled with various Anglo Saxon related activities. We’ve baked Anglo Saxon biscuits, we’ve made Anglo Saxon brooches, and this weekend E worked with her Grandad to make an Anglo Saxon weapon.
Though E wasn’t too keen on the idea of making weapons, she sure had plenty of fun aiming and shooting with her finished bow and arrow.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
