As the kids are no longer at school both due to the recent ‘coronavirus lockdown’ and of course the easter holidays, I decided to cut them a little slack and let them go loose with some hair dye. It’s not as if either of them has to adhere to any uniform regulations for some time so why not?
J has been desperate to dye his hair green ever since we chalked his hair green a few weeks ago, E on the other hand quite fancied a touch a pink but given that we had ‘green on the go’ she too opted to ‘go green’.
Whilst the product claimed to be semi-permanent I’m a little worried it may be a little more ‘permanent’ than I’d perceived. The kids are happy though so who cares?
Going Green
We’ve been battling the inevitable ‘cabin fever’ boredom with a range of games, movies, jigsaws, crafting, art activities, baking and such-like. Whilst clearing my kitchen cupboards, I came across the kids play putty, E was delighted with my discovery and soon set about stretching, rolling and moulding with her putty.
Stretch & Smile
As always, it’s the simple, little things, that seem to raise the biggest smiles in this household and for that, I am grateful as we need all the smiles we can get right now.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

Ooh I really want to try hair chalk with my two – not sure I’d be brave enough for dye just yet – I can’t even dye my own 😀
Ha I wasn’t keen on the idea but my husband was so …
