#LivingArrows – My Little Monkeys 12/52 (2017)

Welcome to another week of #LivingArrows where I share a picture of each of my children. Our kids like to monkey around climbing, kicking and keeping active whilst giving us parents early heart failure as we desperately try to keep them alive on a daily basis.

E is forever being told to get down from this, that and the other. I swear I must say “get down young lady” at least ten times a day and despite telling her on a daily basis it never really seems to sink in.

Whether it’s climbing things at the park that technically shouldn’t be climbed upon, walking along the top of the sofa or scaling her brothers bunk bed, E is a natural climber and loves nothing more than to scale great heights no matter how many times she’s told otherwise.

J has thankfully learnt the hard way that climbing isn’t always a great idea, he is happy to keep his feet on the ground these days. I say that but then again tonight he’s spent at least two hours kicking his legs as high as possible into the air whilst practicing kick boxing down at the dojo.

He has come on leaps and bounds recently and with a little luck it wont be long before he gains his next belt which is just as well as apparently Mummy dearest (that’ll be me) has over washed his current belt which is now a pale shade of custard yellow rather than mustard yellow that it should be.

Thankfully my kids are naturally active and they love nothing more than to run around, it’s far better than spending all day on a tablet or slumped in front of the television. I wish I had as much energy as them, a couple of hours of cleaning around the house and I’m beat!

Thanks again for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I love it when the kids run off all their energy – it’s great that yours are just so active! x
