We are now halfway through the second half of the spring term, Easter is just around the corner and with all that’s going on in this crazy world at present, I can’t help but start counting down to the next set of holidays. I need a break, not just a physical break but a mental break and I’d imagine the kids feel likewise.
Thankfully the weekends enable us to enjoy a little freedom from the framework which is our regular routine. Last weekend we took a spring stroll with the kids, the dogs and my Mum through the park, across the fields and alongside the pond and though it was only half an hour or so, it was a welcome break.

Weekends will never be long enough as there’s just so much to do these days. Though we do our best to make the most of our time together whilst ensuring we get out, we enjoy some fresh air, we see our family and we rest up before the regular routine returns come Monday morning.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I feel the same, especially now I’m working full time – the weekends are never long enough to fit everything in! We’re definitely ready for the Easter holidays here too – only two weeks to go!
Not long now 🙂
It must be so nice having all that outdoor space near you. It’s great to just get out and enjoy the fresh air every so often x
