Given that we’ve quite literally just had the half-term break, it feels as if the holidays were months ago now! It’s funny how routine takes over and we find ourselves doing the same things day-in-day-out feeling just as we did before the break.
Though most days are pretty busy in our family schedule, Thursdays seem to take the phrase term ‘busy’ to a whole new level as both J & E seem to have numerous activities spanning throughout the day and into the evening including E’s beloved ballet/ tap lessons.
E loves nothing more than to get her hair brushed into a bun, pull on some leggings and hop into her leotard ready to boogie along to various hits which later get played full blast via Alexa in various rooms around the house. Here she is demonstrating one of her many ‘moves’ in the kitchen.
Whilst I’m happy to see both the kids busy and active, I understand that by Friday they are both completely and utterly exhausted thus I desperately try to encourage each of them to complete their homework there and then to ensure that they have their weekend free to relax and have fun.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
