Following watching the recent release of Disney’s Zombies 2 my kids have done nothing but rewatch, dance and sing along to scenes from the movie.
With it being yet another wet weekend we kept the kids entertained with indoor activities in between which they raced around pretending to be zombies. Rather than suggest another board game I decided to hunt out the hair chalk and gave them each a terrible transformation.
J became a zombie with his very own z-band aka his Dad’s watch whilst E transformed into a werewolf! Chaos then commenced as the kids ran amuck screeching, moaning, howling, growling and making unearthly sounds as they chased each other around the house.
Zombie J
Werewolf E
A simple two-minute transformation resulted in an entire afternoon of freaky fun for the kids. It was so lovely to hear them laugh and giggle as they played together. It was also an ideal opportunity to grab a little time without interruption to sit and have a natter with Paul.
It’s the simple things, the little things if you will, that make the bigger picture so much brighter.
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
