The past few days have been a bit of a blur, there’s so much going on at present yet somehow we’ve managed to repaint both the kitchen and dining room, we’ve had a day out to the cinema to watch Sonic The Hedgehog followed by a MacDonald’s, and today we’ve been for a family swim at the local swimming baths.
It has none-stop bucketed it down for the past week, if the weather wasn’t so wild we could have enjoyed walks in the woods, strolls on the shore or time out and about. I had toyed with the idea of taking the kids to Blackpool for the day but with the endless series of storms that we are being battered by, that and the fact that I need to stay close to home it’s just not going to happen.
I feel a bit bad looking through pictures on Facebook of other families and kids abroad swimming, skiing and having fun in the sun. Meanwhile here’s us with the heating on keeping ourselves busy at home – it’s not exactly exciting but it’s affordable at least.
Our Very Own Sonic
Happy In Her Hat
Sadly Paul goes back to work tomorrow. However, E has written a long list of activities which she and her brother would like to do which includes the likes of painting, play-dough, baking, and model-making, all of which I am sure will keep me busy and most definitely keep the kids happy (I hope?) and entertained.Â
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

You definitely aren’t the only ones who have been trying hide from the weather close to home! I hope you managed to have an enjoyable half term despite the rain 🙂 #LivingArrows
Thanks x
I’m so pleased you’ve managed such great time together despite the weather – it’s been pretty awful down here too! x
