Last week seemed to be the week of after-school appointments for both J & E with the hairdressers, dentist, after-school clubs, music lessons and so on. We were also meant to be going to swimming lessons on Sunday but then I fell poorly so that didn’t pan out as planned. There’s only so much I can do especially at present…
Unlike the lads who have their hair cut every four-five weeks, it’s been eight months since E or I have had our hair cut. Though I’m yet to have the chop, E had her hair cut last week and whilst she only had a few inches snipped, it seems so much easier to manage!
Bless her, E sat so still and patient as Anne (our hairdresser) cut, styled and straightened her hair. She looks so much older but so cute with straight, sleek hair.
Stylishly Sleek & Straight
J is doing really well considering. He is coming on leaps and bounds in terms of his timing and counting in music though I’m trying to ensure that he does his best whilst not putting any pressure on him, the main thing is that he enjoys his lessons.
Practice Makes Perfect
It’s all very well carting the kids to all these extra-curricular activities (such as drum lessons and swimming lessons) but then finding the extra time to practice everything, especially with so much going on each evening can be quite difficult.
We try our best to keep on top of things but it’s much like juggling plates, in that you drop just one and everything seems to fall out of place. I try my best but there are only so many hours in a day!
Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

It is such a juggling act isn’t it! E looks lovely with her hair done, it’s mad how a cut and style can make them look so much older isn’t it! x #LivingArrows
Is it hehe
It’s sounds like you do have a busy time! We only have swimming lessons and Beavers for Toby at the moment but I’m sure it will get busier when they get a bit older 🙂 #LivingArrows
Our whole week is full of lessons and clubs now. I’m not sure where we’ll fit practice time in too! x
