Please excuse my recent lack of posts, to say that I’ve been ‘snowed under’ is an understatement. If only we had actually had some decent snowfall, we got nothing but a dusting and I’m rather jealous of all the snow scene shots that people have been posting. Saying that I’m not sure that we would have the time to go out sledging as we’ve been none-stop with homeschool, work, sorting my Mum’s soggy situation and keeping on top of the chores – it’s exhausting!
Though the kids were a little sad to have missed the snow, I’m rather relieved as knowing our luck we’d have only ended with one us injured, perhaps breaking a bone or worse…
As usual, we’ve been busy, busy, busy this week at Homeschool HQ. Whilst I’ve ensured that the kids have kept on top of their school work, I’ve also tried my best to fit in some ‘fun stuff’ such as baking, modelling with dough, playing board games and such-like but with the freezing, wet weather I’ve given in and have allowed them both to enjoy some ‘tech time’ as there’s only so many movies I can stomach watching.
Queen of the Kitchen
I’ve got to be honest, lockdown 3.0 ain’t no walk in the park – the kids are working almost all day and they deserve a break now and then, as do I for that matter (though in my case it’s highly unlikely to happen). So shoot me if my photos are bland and boring, for we feel rather bland and boring at present which is entirely understandable considering that we are stuck inside for the foreseeable.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
