The kids are currently out at the cinema watching the latest Spiderman movie with their Dad, whilst I’ve spent the past few hours getting myself sorted for the week ahead. Whilst Paul, J and I return to school tomorrow, E is a lucky so and so as she has an extra day off before starting back for the spring term.
Speaking of E, she was royally spoilt at Christmas with almost an entirely new wardrobe, and two dazzling dress-up outfits including this beautiful blue ‘Princess Anna’ dress from the Frozen movie franchise. She’s quite literally had an ‘all singing all dancing’ holiday as she has spent the past fortnight dancing, drawing, diamond painting, reading, dressing up, singing and playing with the piles of presents that received.
And just like that, the Christmas holidays are officially over. Whilst I feel far from ready for tomorrow’s early getup and return to routine, I’m sure that give it a week or two and it’ll feel as if Christmas was months ago.
For those of you that haven’t read my past posts, I have two children however my eldest has recently decided to opt-out of being part of the #LivingArrows series in order to reduce his digital footprint.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

One of my favourite things is when the children and Dave go to the cinema and I do whatever needs doing and get up straight. It’s always time well spent x
It is , I just felt very oddly lonely !
I love the Anna dress – my two have never been into dressing up but I always love seeing other children enjoying it. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year x
