Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves, It seems that whilst our extension is ‘under construction’ everything else is taking a bit of a back seat, read on and you’ll see what I mean.
Read
This week has been literally none stop with the builders starting on the extension, housework, general chores, nursery runs, school runs, after school activities and work. I have barely had time to fart never mind read a book, sorry to be so blunt but it’s the truth.
The only reading that I have actually done is skim reading the job pages of the local rag in hope that I might find something to suit.
Whilst I enjoy working behind a bar and being able to fit shifts around my family I feel like I need more than just pulling pints.
Watched
Once the building work began going up the sky dish had to come down and until the extension is complete we are coping with watching either pre recorded programs or on-demand television.
As this is currently the case we have turned to the good old Disney DVD collection to entertain our children in the meantime. So far this week we have watched ‘Tinkerbell’ the movie and Tangled.
Out of the two I preferred Tangled if not for the catchy Music then for that magical scene with the sky lanterns.
Heard
Whilst I may have had the Radio on for background company this week, I have found that I have been barely able to hear any Music over the sound of drills, saws and other random boys toys that the builders have been using.
You may not have expected to see noises such as these listed in my little loves. However, those sounds will soon result in the completion of our extension and the next chapter in our lives, that’s something to love let me tell you!
Wore
Having swallowed yet another ball from my tongue bar I was forced to purchase some new balls for my tongue piercing.
I’m loving how smooth and perfectly sized my new ball feels, good god that sounds so wrong! I hope the picture doesn’t gross you out too much!
Made
This week I have made endless teas, coffees, juices, flapjacks, cake and other random treats for the troops.
And Lastly
I am loving the fact that the weekend has arrived and I will soon be off down to Manchester for the day to take part in my first ever bloggers conference, BLOG ON!
I am stupidly excited and of course when anything amazing is about to happen I of course will catch whatever cold or random bug is hanging about. At least with a Christmas theme my red nose will fit right in.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
