So Easter has been and gone, the holidays are almost over and just like that we will back to the usual routine come Monday. They say time flies when you are having fun and this past fortnight has certainly been that and more!
Read
My husband very kindly handed over his Kindle PaperWhite earlier this week. I was originally planning to buy a few new books to read but then opted to delve into some of my past favourites for a re-read.
Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series was first to pop up on the list and I have since downloaded the very first book to enjoy all over again.
Watched
As I’ve previously mentioned J is currently ‘Pirate mad’ and having learnt that Disney is planning on releasing a fifth instalment of the ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean‘ he sought out the trailer and has since played it numerous times throughout the week.
I can hardly complain about having to watch Johnny Depp, hell he may be in his fifties but he’s still got it… anyhow moving on…
Heard
Having watched both Series 1 & Series 2 of Car Share I have found myself lured into listening to a few nineties classics including Here’Says ‘Pure & Simple’.
I obviously didn’t appreciate the track first time around but god knows how many years later (I daren’t count how many precisely as it will only remind me that I’m ancient) the lyrics have some serious sentiments to offer and I’m blumming hooked Damn Peter Kay!
Wore
I’ve once again been bitten by the Ebay bug and have found myself purchasing a few new tops to throw over some leggings, jeggings or jeans to cover the cake shelves.
I’m hoping with a little effort and a whole lot of self discipline I may reduce the cake shelves to a moderate curve before summer then I can eb away from the ‘floaty tops’ and slip into something more fitted to my figure.
Made
Other than a couple of batches of cakes with the kids I have made very little this week. Paul however has gone all green fingered and has dug up the majority of the lawn ready to begin our garden transformation. It may only be a pile of dirt with a few wooden borders but I can already see progress is being made, I cannot wait till it’s all done and dusted, I’ll be able to sit on the decking drink in hand while the kids play happily and most importantly cleanly.
And Lastly
Like most UK based parents with children starting school this September Paul and I were eagerly awaiting news upon E’s school placement earlier this week. Having stayed up till past midnight waiting for the results I eventually gave up and went to bed only to find an email awaiting me the following morning to reassure us that E will indeed be following her big brother and going to her school of choice come September.
It was a bitter sweet moment for as much as I want our little lady to go out in the World and show them what she’s made of I also cant help but want to hold onto her for that little bit longer… She’s my baby girl and she’s growing up far too fast for my liking!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

I’m ebay obsessed at the moment too and have bought rather a lot of Mini Boden for my girls at some bargain prices. Furniture is my next port of call! xx
It’s a fab thing
We are the same with MM going into B’s school too. It’s nerve racking but nothing as nerving as I was the first time when we didn’t meet the criteria for our schools now with siblings it’s almost a given so it helps doesn’t it? I have always loved ebay. I sell all my kids stuff on there it’s fab! #littleloves (sorry for late reply).
Thanks Jenny xxx
