Welcome to this weeks edition of #LittleLoves featuring sausages, stripes and safety. #LittleLoves is a weekly blog linky run by Morgana. Each week I contribute by listing some of the highlights from my past seven days in set categories.
Read
Following E’s birthday which I am fairly sure that I have mentioned a few times over the past couple of posts we have been enjoying snuggling down at bedtime with some of the many books that E was given as gifts.
Sugarlump and the Unicorn is yet another rhyming masterpiece from the all time, much-loved family favourite ‘Julia Donaldson‘.
Without spoiling the story for you and your little ones, I will simply say that this tale teaches children to appreciate what they already have and to make the most of the things that they enjoy in life.
Watched
Be sure to MUTE the volume if you are currently accompanied by little ones!
My husband and I had watched the trailer for ‘Sausage Party‘ a few months back and decided there and then that we had to watch the film as soon as it had been released.
Sausage Party was utterly hilarious and totally ridiculous rolled into one. It was also weird like really am I tripping? weird.
It was certainly an experience and a film which I wont forget but probably wont watch again either.
Heard
My hubby kindly treated me to some tunes for the car as a birthday gift. Now 94 features many of the tracks which were playing by the poolside this summer whilst we were on holiday. As I tend to be a girl that links memories to Music I was pretty pleased with his purchase.
I’ve had this CD yeh you heard, a physical CD playing almost all week which is fairly unusual for me as I’m not usually a ‘house Music kinda girl’. I think since becoming a Mum that bopping along to some ‘Cake By The Ocean‘ whilst out in the car is totally acceptable.
Made
I have made quite a lot of food this week with buffets, cakes and all things birthday related. I have already posted this picture in a previous post but sod it, you can never have enough cake!
Wore
I know I know, buying your clothing in the same place that you get your groceries is hardly ‘hip’ when it comes to fashion but sod it, I’m a Mum and so George, Fred and Florence are all perfectly welcome in my wardrobe.
Whilst in Asda grabbing the weekly shop and some random bits of school uniform for the kids I picked up a rather nice stripy top which seems to be floaty enough to cover the flab and is therefore a #wardrobewin
And Lastly
Vauxhall finally got in touch with us and we were able to book our Zafira in for the second phase of the recalls which have been taking place. I have to admit that this has been an issue which has really bothered me for some time now.
As you may or may not be aware Vauxhall Zafira B models have all been recalled several times now as they have been found to be randomly setting on fire due to a range of random issues, all of which Vauxhall assure me that they have now rectified.
It was really nice to be able to drive away from the garage finally being able to use my fans on all settings, it was also a massive relief feeling ever so slightly safer in the car with my two beloved children.
Lets hope, pray and keep all of our fingers, toes and whatever else crossed that this is it and there will be no further fixes required!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing your#LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your#LittleLoves might be.

Julia Donaldson always goes down a treat – we don’t have this one so I’ll have to keep my eye out for it. The cake looks yummy… I’m sure that went down a treat too 😛
