Slap my hand for I am a bad Mother blogger, I realise that I have barely blogged this week but in all honesty I’ve had far too much to do and very little to say. Life has been hectic much like my head which seems to be swimming with information most of which isn’t of interest nor worth writing about.
I may have been running around like a headless chicken for the past week or so but I’ve certainly enjoyed doing so. Given that Friday has once again landed upon us I am now sat at my Mac with a Martini in my mits ready to share my #LittleLoves from the past seven days.…
The weekend has arrived and for once we are child-free for the night leaving us with options to actually ‘go out’ as in ‘go out out’! Whether I’ll have the energy to get ready and to actually leave the house by the time that I’ve written this post, caught up with the soaps and had a shower I’m not entirely sure but I’ll give it a shot.
This week hasn’t been too bad in all honesty, I’m finally getting myself into some form of routine with the kids being back at school, that and with my elbow feeling a little better thanks to the new support which eventually arrived I’m far more able to crack on with things around the house.…
Welcome to my first #LittleLoves post for 2018, if you haven’t read my blog before now then I’ll quickly explain that #LittleLoves is a weekly linky hosted by Morgana over at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat reflecting upon six (or more) things which fall under set headings that you have loved throughout the week.
I have been taking part in this linky for almost two years now each and every Friday, it is something which I look forward to doing as it gives me chance to reflect upon my week in a positive light.
So without further ado, here is my first #LittleLoves post for the new year, here’s hoping that 2018 is filled with many #LittleLoves all of which I look forward to sharing with you.…
The past week has been an absolute blast! We have had an amazing Christmas with family and friends, the kids were spoilt rotten with gifts galore and we’ve spent quality time together stuffing our faces with festive food, enjoying the seasonal shows and kicking back for Christmas.
Both Paul and the kids struggled earlier in the week with coughs and colds but otherwise we’ve managed to steer clear of the sickness bugs and such-like which were apparently doing the rounds. Thankfully we made it through Christmas before disaster struck as I came down with a nasty chest infection before taking a tumble down the stairs where I injured my elbow rendering me strapped up and sofa bound.…
Christmas has finally arrived, the kids are home for the school holidays and Paul and I are just about ready for the big day. As you can imagine with having two kids, work and Christmas just around the corner it’s been a busy week.
I’ve yet to work one final shift behind the bar before I can officially relax and enjoy Christmas. Until then I’m ploughing on as usual whilst trying to entertain two over excited children, that and care for a rather smelly and senile dog, it’s all fun and games in our house this week!
Despite being busy beyond belief I’ve certainly enjoyed the past seven days and for that reason writing this weeks edition of #LittleLoves seems almost too easy.…
