Well blow me it’s Friday again! I guess I’d better put the wine down for a moment and figure out a few #LittleLoves from the past seven days or so.
Read
Other than emails, texts, social media and such-like I haven’t read a great deal at all. I must start reading more often and now that I have a little extra time given that E has recently started School I guess I’ll have plenty of time for reading in the near future. I guess on that note I should take a look at my Kindle and download some ‘autumn reads’ to get stuck into!
Watched
As a fellow northerner and comedy fan I am of course a Peter Kay enthusiast and whilst I’ve seen this clip countless times over the past few years it cropped back up earlier this week and tickled me once again.
I often find myself mishearing things, especially song lyrics. I will never again be able to listen to Sister Sledge’s “We are family” without hearing “we found love in a femidom!”, Cheers Pete!
Heard
I’m not sure whether I’ve gone ‘old skool’ or whether I’m just old… Either way I’ve found myself downloading a fair amount of nineties best of albums including The Foofighters, Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics which are currently playing at full whack from our bedroom sound system.
Made
I finally forced myself to sit down, to design and to write E & I’s belated Thank You letters from our birthdays back in August. It’s a job that I’ve been meaning to get around to for a couple of weeks now but up until today haven’t had the time to get done.
Wore
Having had some medically marvellous news on Monday I found myself celebrating with a little retail therapy. Earlier last week I bought a bottle green corduroy dungaree dress (to add to my ever-growing dungaree dress collection) and having found that this fit perfectly I then bought and added the burgundy version of this dress to my wardrobe.
And Lastly
Can you Adam and Eve it? E has officially started Primary School. My little lady has attended two afternoon sessions this week and so far seems to be loving School. I on the other hand don’t know quite what to do with all my time but I am sure that I will occupy myself somehow or other with the housework which there is always plenty of to work upon.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

She look so cute in her uniform. I have never had dungarees but a a dress style one I might have to try this FALL you have inspired me. Sounds like you have been keeping busy lately but looking forward to more reading time. My littlest has just started school too. The house feels quiet and empty during the week already with her I almost don’t know where to begin work. It feels nice having my evening work free though.
You would so rock dungaree dresses x
Am loving your cord dungaree dress, slightly temped but not sure I could pull it off. I too am loving finding my favourite bands to listen to, even if I cringe by how long ago I first heard some of the albums (on CD and even vinyl!!). Those were the days 😉
Thanks Debbie x
Loving the dungaree dress, I need to get some in colours like that to give my wardrobe an Autumn vibe.
Hope E is enjoying reception and she’s settled in well x
She’s settling I think yes xxx
