The weekend has arrived and for once we are child-free for the night leaving us with options to actually ‘go out’ as in ‘go out out’! Whether I’ll have the energy to get ready and to actually leave the house by the time that I’ve written this post, caught up with the soaps and had a shower I’m not entirely sure but I’ll give it a shot.
This week hasn’t been too bad in all honesty, I’m finally getting myself into some form of routine with the kids being back at school, that and with my elbow feeling a little better thanks to the new support which eventually arrived I’m far more able to crack on with things around the house. So without any further waffle I’ll make an effort to writeup my #LittleLoves for the past seven days.

Life is short, really blumming short and so often wasted worrying about the ‘small stuff’, having spent time reading through Holly Butcher’s recent Facebook post which was posted by her family shortly after Holly passed away I was reminded just how important it is to make the very best of your time in this World.
You live one life, it may seem lengthy at times but in reality it’s incredibly short and incredibly precious. Life shouldn’t be wasted and to quote Holly “Remember if something is making you miserable, you do have the power to change it – in work or love or whatever it may be. Have the guts to change. You don’t know how much time you’ve got on this earth so don’t waste it being miserable. I know that is said all the time but it couldn’t be more true.”
Watched
My husband and I love to have a laugh which is probably why we often find ourselves watching comedy of some form most nights. Over Christmas I recorded numerous comedy shows including Micky Flanagans stand up tours which Paul and I watched earlier this week.
Since watching said shows I can hand on heart say that Micky Flanagan is my current comedy favourite, his style is simple, sharp and side-splittingly hilarious.
Heard
Having finally received my very own Amazon Echo Dot I have since signed up for Amazon Music Unlimited and as you can imagine both my husband and I have spent the majority of our time challenging pestering Alexa to play all kinds of Music.
This little device is such a gem, how I’ve coped without Alexa for all these years is beyond me. Much like Peter Kay’s ‘Garlic Bread’ I’m pretty sure that ‘Alexa is the future’.
Made
Other than basic meals and a batch of flapjacks I haven’t made much this week. Saying that I have put together and published a number of videos which I have since uploaded and added to my YouTube channel including this video featuring clips from our holiday to Majorca last summer.
Wore
As I mentioned above I finally received a new sling in which to support my elbow which is currently fractured. It’s hardly fashionable but it’s certainly comfortable and seems to be aiding my recovery.
I’ve worn said sling for most of the day around the house but have tried to refrain from wearing it whilst working so that I have my hands free to pull pints, saying that I’ve found that I’ve had to pop it back on a few hours into each shift as my arm either seizes up or I develop the Worlds worst shoulder pain.
And Lastly
Having scoured the ‘tinternet’ for the past fortnight Paul and I have finally found a holiday which seems to suit us for the summer. I’m yet to finalise the booking but we’ve at least decided upon the destination and dates and have found a deal to die for which I am hoping to confirm over the weekend.
And with this weeks #LittleLoves post now complete, I am off to get myself showered and ready for a much-deserved NIGHT OUT!
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

I have always fancied an Alexia! The holidays sound fun it take us ages to find one, such an important decision. I hope your elbow heals soon it sounds very painful. xx #LittleLoves
Always exciting to book those summer holidays and have it to look forward to. Your trip to Majorca looks fab too. Never been but want to go someday. We have the google jbl speakers so we are constantly annoying it with hey google play this or find this or do this. hahaha My mother in law thinks it’s big brother gone too far. hahaha Hope you had a great weekend. #littleloves
It is a bit big brother lol
Exciting news about your holiday! We’ve not got round to sorted anything yet. I really must though as it’s so nice to have something to look forward to, especially in these cold and grey months.
Hope you’re having a good week x
