As always I was intending to write more throughout the week but with it being half term I’ve done very little other than run around after the kids, keep the house in one piece, work and somehow manage to maintain my sanity.
I would love to say that I have that Friday feeling but as I’ve already explained in past posts, I tend to work throughout the weekend and therefore I have very few feelings other than exhaustion! I will therefore muster the very last ounce of energy that I have left within to write this here post listing my #LittleLoves from the week gone by.
Read
Cupid called earlier in the week, he happened to deliver a rather romantic Valentines Card which I spent some time reading whilst admiring my roses and munching the Terrys Orange that came alongside said card.
Watched
With it being Valentines Day (and our thirteenth anniversary of being together) Paul and I spent a night at the local cinema watching the latest and final instalment of the ‘Fifty Shades’ trilogy ‘Fifty Shades Freed‘. Whilst I rather enjoyed the first film and absolutely loved the second I wasn’t entirely thrilled by the third and final film, still it was nice to get out and to have a night to ourselves.
Heard
Having watched ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ I found myself drawn back to Ellie Goulding’s original soundtrack ‘Love Me Like You Do’. There’s something about her voice, the lyrics and the layering of the track which gives me goosebumps, it’s a personal favourite.
Made
Earlier this week I found the time to get down with my decks and having thrown together a few tracks I eventually recorded a short mix which I have since uploaded to SoundCloud should you fancy a listen.
Wore
I’ve been meaning to replace my ripped jeans for some time now but with my recent weight loss I wasn’t too sure what size to buy. I may have lost three stone over the past year but in all honesty when I look in the mirror I see no real difference and for that reason I tend to pickup the same old size (when it comes to clothing) half expecting it to be just that, the same old size.
I was therefore rather shocked to discover that I am no longer a size 14 as I am now able to squeeze into size 10-12 jeans which I have since worn with pride.
Excuse the rather saggy looking stomach in the picture but I’ve had two children and am a little sit-up shy!
And Lastly
Half term may have been hectic but we’ve had a wicked week! We’ve kept ourselves busy with winter walks, having our nieces to stay for the night, bouncy castle madness, baking, nights out, cinema trips, shopping, playing games, watching films and all kinds of family fun.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.

Loving that mix! Great song choices.
Well done on your weight loss. I made the mistake of stepping on the scales this week and very swiftly regretted it. Oops! x
Thanks x
