It’s the weekend and whilst for most people this would be something to celebrate, as a barmaid  I happen to work weekends so you can imagine I tend to prefer Sunday nights when the concept of a quiet Monday is within reach.
Given that there’s very little left of my Friday night remaining and I’ve yet to relay my #LittleLoves from the past week I best get onto it rather than rambling and generally ranting about random rubbish. So here goes…
Read
Whilst it wasn’t entirely enjoyable reading, it certainly felt good to get my head ‘back into the books’ in terms of Education through carrying out a number of online courses upon Safeguarding within Schools earlier this week. I’m hoping that given time, experience and by continuing my professional development through courses and such-like I may be able to find work within Schools and make a return to Teaching at some point in the near future, here’s hoping at least!
Watched
Having managed to make it through the almost two-month break from the Bay (Summer Bay that is) Home & Away finally returned to my screen or should I say my Daily Motion app earlier this week. As sad as I may be, Home & Away happens to be one of my guilty pleasures which allows me thirty minutes rest bite each day, that and of course some serious Aussie eye candy!
Heard
It’s not exactly a ‘new’ tune but for some reason or other I’ve found myself regularly repeating DJ Fresh & Miss Dynamites ‘Gold Dust’ throughout the week. This is such a catchy tune and certainly worth a download for the dance floor.
Made
Other than warming croissants in a microwave and dousing them in endless amounts of strawberry jam and cheese I’ve made very little in terms of food or crafts this week. I have however made a fair amount of social plans for the future including a curry night with a couple of mates from ‘Down Under’, bridesmaid shopping with a bestie and a date night which will hopefully be fifty shades and more with the husband.
Wore
Clothes, I have worn clothes this week. Sorry, that was such a ‘J’ thing to say given his current eights years going on sixteen attitude. What I mean is that I haven’t really worn anything out of the ordinary other than a frown perhaps. That and my patience has been worn ever so slightly thin with having an extra from Dawsons Creek swanning around my house as if it were a god damned hotel…
And Lastly
After flicking through hundreds of hair style ideas I eventually booked myself in with the wonderful Ann for a re-dye and re-style. It was great to get out and have a little pamper, that and to have a good whinge in the hair dressers whilst she took a little weight from my shoulders.
Thanks again for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed this weeks #LittleLoves. If you fancy sharing some of your own #LittleLoves then why not join in either through your own blog post or by leaving a comment below, I would love to hear what your #LittleLoves might be.
